I liked Eisenhorn as a strong character and found the world of humans fighting demons and aliens fascinating. I really loved listening to this book. Watch list is full. Eisenhorn has a few very loyal friends one of whom is Abnstt who seems to be an especially brawny warrior and bodyguard. When his body is hideously damaged in an enemy attack, it looks as though Inquisitor Gideon Ravenor’s promising career would be abruptly brought short.

While enriched by the knowledge, Xenos is told as such that it can be enjoyed with no prior knowledge of the universe.

At best it made the story difficult to visualize, at worst xens were segments of the story that devolved into word salad. Xenoz friend was right, I love the concept of an inquisitor and now will have to read all the books on inquisitor characters. Warhammer 40K novel with a fantastic performance. Fortunately, this book is easy to read and understan It is no secret that I’ve been reading about Warhammer lately to help inspire me to paint miniatures and I finally decided to try reading some of the fiction that Games Workshop puts out. I am definitely looking forward to continuing the series, and exploring what else this universe has to offer.

I preferred the ‘narrative’ parts more than the field fights that have never really proved to be up to the intrigues behind them. A good book A book about a member of the 40k imperial inquisition.
